Today, we’re talking Tipsy Ducks In Love recipe. Ok, you caught us, you caught the DVC Duo. Two points if you got the Ron White reference. This is not cooking, but let’s be honest ever great meal starts off with a cocktail! Let’s get to it, Tipsy Ducks In Love recipe here we come!
Tipsy Ducks In Love Recipe
Located at the Joy of Tea kiosk in Epcot’s China Pavilion you’ll find our drink of the day, the Tipsy Ducks In Love. The caffeinated adult beverage was added to the menu in 2012 and has been a staple ever since. Here is the DVC Duo’s Disney at Home Tipsy Ducks In Love Recipe!
- 3/4 of a cup of brewed chilled coffee
- 1/3 of a cup of brewed chilled black tea
- 1/4 of milk
- 1.5 ounces of Bourbon
- 3 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
- Whipped Cream
Brew and chill both the coffee and black tea. Fill a cocktail shaker a third full with ice cubes. Add the brewed and chilled coffee. Next, add the brewed and chilled black tea. Followed by milk, bourbon, and chocolate syrup. Shake for 30 seconds or until the shaker is too cold to hold. Served over ice and top with whipped cream.
There is more than one way to shake things up. With this cocktail feel free to make the following substitutions as you see fit.
- Cold Brew Coffee For The Store
- Your Favorite Unsweetened Ice Tea
- Non-Dairy Milk
- Non-Dairy Whipped Cream
- More or Less Chocolate Syrup (up to 5 tablespoons)
- Non-Alcoholic By Removing The Bourbon
One of the ways we like to “mix” up by using coconut/almond milk. We’ve found it adds a unique twist. Alright, after all this shaking it looks like our drink is ready. Time to enjoy!
