Crew, plank, ahh, we get the connection! We back with another installment of our Disney at-home recipes. This time around we’re hitting the water to share our Crew’s Cup Walk the Plank recipe. Found at many of the Walt Disney World lounges and restaurants, the walk the plank is getting a unique spin at Crew’s Cup. Or should we say upgrade! It’s an upgrade that has Nate’s name all over it, Bullet. Not just any type of Bullet, we’re talking rye. Grab those shakers, it’s time to craft our at-home version of Crew’s Cup Walk the Plank recipe!

The final results from our Walk The Plank Recipe

Reminds us of home! Located in the Yacht Club resort, Crew’s Cup Lounge is a longtime DVC Duo favorite. If you can’t find us in the parks, we’re more than likely here. Themed after a traditional New England boathouse, Crew’s Cup is a great place to pull up a bar seat and enjoy a drink or two (it’s vacation after all). The cocktail menu centers around your traditional classics like an old fashioned or martini. Additionally, the lounge has to the standard Disney cocktail menu you’ll find around most of Disney property. After a couple of trips we noticed the Crew’s Cup Walk the Plank recipe was different, so had to try it. For research purposes of course! Let’s just say we’re glad we did. The best way to describe it is a lighter, more refreshing version of a traditional old fashioned. One could say it’s a whiskey variation of a Mai-Tai. Alright, the ice is melting, we’d better get to the shaking!

Crew’s Cup made a variation of the Walk the Plank, why can’t we? Below are a few options for substitutions, feel free to make adjusts where you would like.

  • Replace Bullet Rye Whiskey with Crown Royal Mothern Harvest Rye Whisky

We recommend enjoying this cocktail on some type of dock, deck or any wood floor surface would do!
