Let’s wine and dine! Well more like wine when we’re talking about best Epcot lounges. Known for its fabulous sit-down and quick-serve locations around the World Showcase, Epcot is no one-trick pony. Hidden within many of the countries are great lounges for an adult time out. Maybe multiple timeouts if you’re like the DVC Duo! We’ve got some walking around the world to do. Let’s grab a cocktail and explore our top 3 stops on our best Epcot lounges list!
To The Right
Much like Zoolander we just can’t turn left when heading to the World Showcase. Trust us we’ve tried many times. The first stop on our trip around the world is the Rose & Crown in the United Kingdom pavilion. That’s right, skip over the beer stand and head into the pub to a proper pint or two!
Coming third on our best Epcot lounges is a tried, true and tested spot for and an adult beverage. Heading into the lounge you get a wider variety of options than at the outside cart. From an array of half and half options to the solid list of whiskey, the Rose & Crown is a fantastic experience.
On a hot day at Epcot, there’s nothing more refreshing than Snakebite. Combining Strongbow cider and Harp, the Snakebite is the thirst-quenching pint you’ve been looking for. For whiskey fans, you can never go wrong with a vintage pour of Jameson on the rocks.
Passholder Insights: During the festival season the Rose & Crown pub tends to fill up on Friday nights and weekends. We like to head over earlier in the day or week when possible.
Classing It Up
You’ve gotta class it up once and awhile. Lucky for us it’s a short walk to our next best Epcot lounge. One could argue the following is not technically a lounge, but we’re letting slide. It’s our list, right? (#sarcasm). Tucked away in the France pavilion is Les Vins de France.
Is there anything classier than champagne? We think not, but we’re sure there is. One of Serena’s favorite stops around the World Showcase is Les Vins de France for a glass of bubbles. Many may say the best drink in the France pavilion is the Grand Mariner slushy. In the DVC Duo, we have a different favorite, Veuve Clicquot.
There’s something about sipping a glass of champagne while walking around the Epcot World Showcase, you just can’t beat it. With a variety of champagne and wine options, the Les Vins de France is one of our all-time favorite stops. With usually short lines and a fun gift shop, it’s definitely worth the extra few steps into the pavilion.
Passholder Insights: Across from Les Vins de France is a wonderful ice cream shop with one of the more unique ice cream sandwiches. The sandwich is actually a baguette.
Whether It’s A Sunrise Or Not
Tequila that is! The last stop on our top 3 best Epcot lounges is La Cava del Tequila. I think we’ve said it all. Ok, let’s elaborate. One of the, if not the most infamous lounges around Epcot’s World Showcase, it’s rare to not find a line at La Cava del Tequila.
With an impressive list of unique margaritas, you’ll want to try them all. From the refreshing cucumber margarita to the spices jalapeño and the one of kind avocado, there’s something for every occasion.
For us, there’s no better way to beat the heat than to head into Mexican Mayan Temple, grab a margarita and explore the marketplace. Throw in a trip on one of our favorite Epcot rides and you got two happy Disney bloggers.
Passholder Insights: La Cava del Tequila does offer seating and a few apps (ask for guacamole, and thank us later). If you’re looking for a table, skip the line and head to host stand.
Vundabar! When traveling between the France and Mexico pavilions we need a place to stop. It’s a long walk. For us, nothing beats grabbing a pint where it all started, Germany. Just missing our best Epcot lounges is the German beer (or should we say bier) stand. With outdoor seating options, it’s the perfect place to take a break on your trip around the world.
Offering up a variety of traditional bier options, the stand directly across from the popcorn shop has all the hits. On warm summer days, you’ll find us enjoying a Schofferhofer. The grapefruit inspires bier is as refreshing as the Snakebite in the UK pavilion. If you’re looking for a more traditional German bier option, but worry they got you covered.
There are no bad choices around Epcot’s World Showcase. We’ve enjoyed a drink in all of the countries. Our best recommendation is to try the local offering within the country. All most all of the countries offer beer, wine, and cocktail from their homeland. One last margarita before we leave? You read our minds!
