Who You Going To Roll With? – Adventureland Spring Roll Cart

Today, we’re rolling over to Adventureland to talk about the Adventureland spring roll cart. Like a cultural phenomenon the Adventureland spring roll cart has taken Walt Disney World by storm. Disney hasn’t seen this type of hype since JT was a mouseketeer. With an ever changing list of options, there is always a new spring roll to try. We hope you have your appetite, we’re going spring roll testing! Roll out!

Where’s The Cart?

You can’t try them without knowing where to find the Adventureland spring roll cart. Somewhat hidden in plain sight, directly across from the Enchanted Tiki Room is the magical wagon. Yes, Disney World calls it a wagon, but we all know it as a cart. The wagon serves springs and a variety of Coca-Cola products and bottled water.

The Original

When the Adventureland spring roll cart first opened it served up a classic spring roll. Nothing fancy, but a solid spring roll nonetheless. With it’s perfectly crisp exterior and filled with traditional vegetables, it’s the perfect handheld bite for those hangry moments. Served in pairs, this snack is great for sharing, or if you’re like Nate, this serving size is for one. On most days you can count on the vegetable spring roll being one of the options.

Passholder Insights: Be aware the snack carts in all the parks do not show up in the My Disney Experience app. Disney World tends to switch snack cart offerings in and out. Your best bet is to stroll by to see if the cart is open.

The More The Merrier

Over the past few years the Adventureland spring roll cart has gotten creative in the kitchen and is rolling out some delectable bites. The crown jewel of the creations is the cheeseburger spring roll. This tasty delight is simple in design but packs a punch with flavor. Consisting of ground beef, sauteed onions, minced dill pickles, and of course cheese, it’s a combination that’s been staring us all in the face for years but no one ever actually put it together. We’re glad Disney did! The only thing that could make it better is some type of unique dipping sauce, I’m thinking a nod to the mid-western “fry sauce” (ketchup/mayo mix maybe with some horseradish?)

The back-up offerings in our spring roll boy band, are definitely no slouches. Over the years, we’ve seen a variety of other creative offerings that include the following:

  • Bacon Macaroni and Cheese – Need we say more?
  • Reuben Spring Rolls – NYC would approve!
  • Buffalo Chicken – Who needs wings?!

The most recent addition to the Adventureland spring roll cart is the Philly cheesesteak spring roll. Debuting on March 5, 2018 the newest spring roll consists of cheese, onions, diced red peppers and beef to emulate the iconic sandwich – get your Philly stoop on!

If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan the spring rolls do qualify as a snack option, and would be a great value at $7.50 for two.

Passholder Options: Always ask which spring roll they have available. Last time Nate went by they had three options, vegetable, buffalo chicken, and the cheeseburger.

Overall Thoughts

It’s great to see the Magic Kingdom expand their offerings in the recent years. Between the Adventureland spring roll cart and all the other new offerings, the park is quickly becoming the go to place for snacks! Best part is that everytime you go, there is a new option. Better hurry if you want the Philly cheesesteak spring before it goes, bye bye bye!
